not black locust... kentucky coffee bean tree.
Since the pod, there were many pods like this, were at the base of a black locust tree the assumption is they are black locust pods.
So I looked it up on the interent, google images and sure enough it looks like a Kentucky Coffee Bean Tree pod, go figure.
So my question is, because I didn't get far tonight is it a member of the locust family?
