Beaver?

It's either a beaver or muskrat, we did see a beaver dam so it could be a beaver, I left it large so click on it for a better view.  Bjorkborden Marsh.

Poison Hemlock

Poison Hemlock or Conium maculatum as the name implies it is quite poisonous and has caused many a death of the careless forager! Busy Beaver

There was an active beaver lodge in the oxbow off of the river. What your not seeing is the steep hillside going down to the oxbow the view across is the other bank and a restored prairie area beyond that.
